The energy across campus these past few days has been incredible as our students jumped right back into learning, reconnecting with friends, and settling into their new routines.
Friday, we wrapped up our opening week with our grade-level assemblies! Students had the opportunity to meet (and re-meet!) our school administrative team, go over key rules and procedures, and review important reminders to ensure everyone stays safe, supported, and successful this year.
We are so proud of how attentive and enthusiastic our students were today—they are truly setting themselves up to start the year off on the right foot! 🐾📚
We can't wait to see all the amazing things our students will achieve this year!

Bus Safety Reminder
As our students settle into a new school year, we ask everyone in our community to take a few extra moments to help keep them safe as they travel to and from school.
Whether you’re driving through a neighborhood, approaching a school bus stop, or traveling near a school campus, please stay alert. Slow down, eliminate distractions, and watch carefully for students who may be walking, riding bicycles, or crossing the street.
For drivers:
• Stop for school buses when the stop arm is extended and the red lights are flashing.
• Obey posted school zone speed limits.
• Never pass a stopped school bus unless permitted by law.
• Stay alert for students at bus stops, crosswalks, and near roadways, especially during the busy morning and afternoon hours.
For parents and students:
• Arrive at bus stops a few minutes early and wait a safe distance from the roadway.
• Cross the street only when instructed by the bus driver, and always look left, right, and left again before crossing.
• Use designated crosswalks whenever possible and never cross behind a school bus.
• Stay aware of your surroundings by keeping phones and headphones put away while walking.
The start and end of the school day are some of the busiest times on our roads. A little extra patience and attention can help ensure every student arrives safely at school and returns home safely each day.

Our Wildcat Marching Band wrapped up band camp with an outstanding exhibition performance, giving family, friends, coaches, football players, cheerleaders, Quarterback Club members, volunteers, and supporters a preview of this year's halftime show. The energy, dedication, and countless hours of hard work were on full display, and we can't wait to see this show light up Friday nights this fall!

Attention CCHS students and families! Chromebook pickup for the upcoming school year is happening soon. Here is everything you need to know:
📅 Date: Tuesday, August 4th
⏰ Time: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
🛑 Lunch Break: Distribution will pause from 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM
📍 Pickup Locations:
Upcoming 10th, 11th, and 12th Graders: Pick up from the 10-12 Media Center.
Upcoming 9th Graders: Pick up from the Ninth Grade Media Center.
📋 Important Requirements & Notes:
Forms Required: ALL 9th-grade students and ALL new students must have a Device Acceptable Use Guidelines form signed by a parent or guardian.
Open House Warning: Chromebooks will NOT be distributed during Open House.
Can't make it? If you are unable to pick up your Chromebook on August 4th, don't worry! Chromebooks will also be distributed during the first week of school.
