🖤 Every 45 minutes, a life is lost in an alcohol-related accident. 🖤
Since 2005, CCHS has observed Grim Reaper Day to deliver this powerful message. On Friday, selected "victims" walked the halls in silence, each representing a life cut short — a haunting but important reminder as we head into prom weekend.
This impactful tradition urges our students to make safe choices, look out for one another, and ensure that prom is a night to remember for all the right reasons.
Be safe. Have fun. You matter. 💔🎓 #GrimReaperDay #PromSafety #ThinkBeforeYouDrink #CCHSRemembers

The latest lesson in Ms. Pheil's math class was a blast—literally! 💥 The kids were split into teams and challenged to launch a projectile using a catapult. Using their knowledge of parabolas and quadratics, they had to write an equation to model their projectile’s path. 📈 Then came the real test: using their math to calculate the perfect distance needed to hit a 3-inch target! 🎯 Hands-on learning + real-world math = one unforgettable day!
