Congratulations Mrs. Johnston and CCHS Patient Care Technician Students! We are proud to announce that our very first CCHS Patient Care Technician Class in the Healthcare Sciences Pathway has achieved a 100% pass rate on their certification exam. In the spring of 2024 Southeast Georgia Health System reached out to CCHS CTAE to form a partnership to fulfill a local workforce need for Patient Care Technicians at the health system in Camden County. Along with a state grant for new equipment, SGHS not only donated equipment but also countless hours of mentorship and skill development with our students. Our community partnerships are an integral part of the success of our CCHS CTAE Programs and we would like to thank SGHS for all of their continued support. The PCT certification allows students to work in hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare settings, assisting with vital tasks such as EKG monitoring, phlebotomy, and basic patient care skills. Many of these students will graduate with not only a PCT and CNA Certification but have also attained certifications in EMT, and Pharmacy Technician. ✈️💙 Last Friday, Camden County High School had the incredible honor of hosting the legendary United States Blue Angels right here on our campus! 🤩 Major Brandon Wilkins (USMC), Blue Angel #3 and a demonstration pilot, along with PR1 Brandon Gatewood (US Navy), a proud CCHS Class of '07 grad 🐾, were on hand to share some inspiring insights. They talked about the amazing opportunities within the U.S. Navy and gave us the inside scoop on what it's like to be part of the elite Blue Angels team. Plus, they discussed the importance of hitting the books and working hard in school. A huge thank you to Major Wilkins and PR1 Gatewood for taking the time to visit our Wildcats and share their experiences. It was truly an unforgettable day!

📣 When it takes FOUR people to hold all your certifications... you know you're doing something right! 💪😄 That’s how we roll at CCHS! 🎉 Huge congratulations to Taegan, who has officially earned the title of Microsoft Office Specialist MASTER! 🏅 To achieve this prestigious title, students must pass every national Microsoft certification available—Word, Word Expert, Excel, Excel Expert, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook—and Taegan did just that! This is Taegan’s second year in Dr. Gibson’s business classes at Camden County High School, and through Introduction to Business and Technology and Business and Technology, she’s earned a total of 8 nationally recognized Microsoft certifications. 🤯 Oh, and did we mention she earned a PERFECT SCORE on the National Microsoft Excel exam this year? 🧠🔥 We’re incredibly proud of her dedication, hard work, and the excellence she continues to show. Way to represent CCHS, Taegan! 💙💻✨ #CCHSProud #MicrosoftMaster #StudentSuccess
