On Saturday, 3/1, the CCHS Coding Club competed in the Georgia Student Technology State Competition. Two CCHS teams placed top three in the state. Joseph Klein and Connor Smith placed 3rd in the Game Design category for a game they created called Code Fishing, which allows users to "fish" for code segments floating in a pond before arranging the segments to form a fully compile-able program. Chevy White and Christian De Paula also placed 3rd in the Mobile Apps category for an app they developed called Pi Duel. The app allows two users to “duel” over math equations, from basic addition and subtraction through calculus. Congratulations to these top state ranking teams and the entire Coding Club for a successful competition season.
