Cue the laughs… it’s COMEDY DAY at CCHS! 😂🎬
Yesterday, Day 2 of Teacher Appreciation Week, had us all smiles from start to finish! From “do-nut stop smiling” morning treats in the teacher lounges to our photoshoot fun during lunch, today was all about celebrating the joy our teachers bring to campus every single day. 🍩📸
Teachers captured some hilarious and heartfelt moments with coworkers and students—complete with instant prints, frames, stickers, and keepsakes to remember the day!
A huge THANK YOU to our amazing sponsors for helping make today possible:
✨ Bennett Chevrolet for your generous support
✨ Big Nate’s Lockshop for partnering with us to spread the smiles
We love celebrating our teachers and the laughter they bring into our classrooms daily. Stay tuned—there’s still more fun (and surprises 👀) coming the rest of the week! 💙🐾 #CCHS #TeacherAppreciationWeek #WildcatPride
Lights, camera… ACTION! 🎬
We kicked off Day 1 of Teacher Appreciation Week at CCHS in the best way possible—full of energy, appreciation, and a whole lot of caffeine! ☕💥
Our morning started strong with a dirty soda and iced coffee bar, courtesy of Chef Hicks and our incredible FCCLA students—keeping our teachers fueled and ready for anything the day throws their way! Then, our amazing CTAE department fired up the grills for a cookout lunch complete with all the fixings and ice cream to top it off. 🍔🌭🍦
A huge THANK YOU to our community partners who helped make today such a success:
✨ Salon EllaPar for sponsoring the drink bar (and the cups to enjoy it in!)
✨ Alex Blount, City Council Member, for your sponsorship and support
✨ Southern Roost for providing a card for our teachers
We are so grateful for the outpouring of support as we celebrate the incredible educators who make CCHS what it is. Stay tuned all week as we continue the celebration and spotlight the amazing businesses helping us make this a Teacher Appreciation Week to remember! 💙🐾 #CCHS #TeacherAppreciationWeek #WildcatPride

Before they were leading classrooms, coaching teams, and running the show at CCHS… they were just students getting dressed up for their own prom nights 💃🕺
We’re loving these throwback photos of our staff—some things never change (and some hairstyles definitely do 😉).
As we get ready for Prom 2026 this Saturday, we hope all of our Wildcats make memories just as fun and unforgettable as these!
💙 Have the best time, dance the night away, and make it a night to remember… but most importantly—be safe and take care of each other.
We can’t wait to see all the amazing looks this weekend! #CCHSProm #ThrowbackProm #WildcatMemories

From the first phone call of the day to the last student checked out, our office teams keeps everything running smoothly with grace, patience, and a whole lot of heart. Whether they’re helping students, supporting staff, or welcoming visitors with a smile, their impact is felt in every corner of our school.
A special thank you to Dr. James Phillips for taking the time to recognize these amazing individuals with flowers and treats—just a small token of appreciation for all they do each and every day.
We are so grateful for the dedication, kindness, and professionalism you bring to CCHS. Today (and every day), we celebrate YOU! 🌟 #CCHS #AdministrativeProfessionalsDay #WildcatFamily

We are proud to share that representatives from the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) praised the visit as one of the best reviews they have ever attended. This is a powerful reflection of the excellence happening inside our CTAE programs every day.
This achievement represents months of preparation, collaboration, and dedication from staff across the school and district, including CTAE instructors, school and district leaders, maintenance and facilities teams, support staff, and culinary program students. Every detail mattered, and it showed.
We are especially proud to have GaDOE “Construction Ready” industry certified labs at CCHS, setting the standard for hands-on, career-focused learning in our region.
Congratulations to everyone involved in making this a truly exceptional showcase of student opportunity and program excellence.
