What a BLOCKBUSTER week it has been at CCHS! 🎬🍿💙
We wrapped up Teacher Appreciation Week celebrating the incredible educators who make our school so special each and every day. From flowers and coffee to gifts, lunch, and time spent together, this week was all about showing appreciation for the heart of CCHS — our teachers. 🐾✨
Thursday brought all the rom-com vibes as teachers enjoyed delicious drinks and goodies from Novel Brews, sponsored by Treehouse Insurance, along with sweet treats from Super Sweet Bakeshop. Staff also got to create their own custom bouquets at our Build-Your-Own Bouquet Bar thanks to Kings Bay Flowers for providing the flowers and The Harbor Worship Center for sponsoring the event. 💐☕🧁
Today’s Blockbuster Finale was the perfect ending to an unforgettable week! Teachers enjoyed a delicious Chick-fil-A lunch provided by Toi Vislisel State Farm while Jeremy Scott State Farm sponsored today’s celebration and activities. Staff relaxed together, picked out appreciation gifts, enjoyed movies with coworkers, and closed out the week in true VIP fashion. ⭐🎥

Day 3 of Teacher Appreciation Week on Wednesday brought all the THRILLS to CCHS! From secret missions and mystery games to surprise treats throughout the day, our teachers were celebrated in true suspense-filled fashion. 🔍✨
The highlight was our mystery lunch reveal, where teachers followed confidential clues to discover a delicious lunch waiting for them—making for a fun midweek surprise! We also loved seeing staff participate in today’s mystery alumni challenge and other themed activities across campus.

GRADUATION CEREMONY WEATHER CONTINGENCY PLANS
Camden County Schools announced weather contingency plans for the upcoming graduation ceremonies at Camden County High School:
As previously announced, the Camden County High School graduation ceremony is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday May 22nd at Chris Gilman Stadium. Contingencies are as follows:
In the event of inclement weather on the evening of the ceremony, the ceremony will be held on Saturday May 23rd at 9:00 a.m. at Chris Gilman Stadium.
If on May 23rd inclement weather is predicted that morning, the ceremony will be delayed until 5:00 p.m. on the same day at the same location.
If on May 23rd inclement weather is predicted for the entire day, the ceremony will be held on May 24th at 1:00 p.m. at Chris Gilman Stadium.
Official updates will be communicated on the Camden County Schools website https://www.camden.k12.ga.us/ and the district Facebook page as well as through school messenger.
