Our talented Culinary Arts students in Chef Hicks and Ms. Croy's classes whipped up fluffy omelets and baked the most delicious snickerdoodle cookies last week! From perfect knife skills to golden-brown goodness, they’re serving up creativity and skill in every bite.

Principal Dr. James Phillips is proud to announce that Connor Clark has been named a Commended Student in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program. About 34,000 students in the nation are being recognized. "Those being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success," commented a spokesperson for NMSC. "These students represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation. We hope that this recognition will help broaden their educational opportunities and encourage them as they continue their pursuit of academic success."

A huge shout-out to our very own Alyssa Clark, who is proudly serving as an FFA Area Officer this year! Last Thursday, Alyssa welcomed nearly 300 Career Development Event participants to Coffee Middle School—what an incredible way to represent CCHS and the Wildcats. We can’t wait to see all the great things you’ll accomplish! 💙💛
👏 Another big congratulations to our Meats Evaluation Team—Trinity Gieseking, Joslyn Peterson, Abigail Lindquist, and Taylor Carach—for earning 1st place in area competition and advancing to the state contest in November! 🏆

Today we kicked things off with MARVELous Monday, and our Wildcats did not disappoint! Students and staff came dressed as their favorite superheroes, filling the halls with spirit and creativity.
The excitement carried into the evening with our annual Powderpuff game. Sophomores and juniors put up an incredible fight, but the seniors came out on top and claimed the championship! 🏆🎉

A representative from the University of Georgia will be in the CCHS Media Center this Wednesday, Sept. 17 from 3-4 p.m. to meet with seniors interested in attending UGA. Whether you have already submitted your application to UGA or just getting started on the college process, this is a great opportunity to receive guidance on the admissions process and ask any questions you may have about UGA.

This past Friday night, Camden took down Ribault with an impressive 56–13 victory! 🎉
It was also Senior Night, where we proudly recognized and celebrated our seniors from the football team, athletic trainers, cheerleading, marching band, and cross country. Thank you, seniors, for your dedication and leadership—you make Camden proud!
