CLASS RANKING DESCRIPTION:
Summa Cum Laude (High Honors) Candidates for Summa Cum Laude must have maintained a minimum GPA of at least 4.6, unrounded, and must have earned a minimum of 10 Carnegie units from Honors, Gifted, Advanced Placement or Post-Secondary courses of which 8 must be from Advanced Placement.
Magna Cum Laude (High Honors) Candidates for Magna Cum Laude must have maintained a minimum GPA of at least 4.3 through 4.59, unrounded, and must have earned a minimum of 10 Carnegie units from Honors, Gifted, Advanced Placement or Post-Secondary courses of which 6 must be from Advanced Placement.
Cum Laude To graduate with Cum Laude academic honors from CCHS, a student must have earned at least two world language credits in the same language and have a cumulative GPA for all courses attempted of at least 4.0 – 4.29 unrounded. Candidates must also have earned a minimum of 10 Carnegie units from Honors, Gifted, Advanced Placement or Post-Secondary courses and must include 4 AP courses.
Honors To graduate with honors from CCHS, a student must have maintained a minimum cumulative GPA of 4.0.
