SkillsUSA Camden

The SkillsUSA Camden County chapter has earned national recognition as a Model of Excellence and will compete this summer at the prestigious SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference (NLSC).

Selected as one of only 24 chapters in the nation, SkillsUSA Camden has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to the SkillsUSA Framework, which emphasizes personal, workplace, and technical skills grounded in academics. This recognition marks the highest honor awarded to SkillsUSA chapters nationwide.

As part of this elite recognition, students Rhiyana Revels and Chloe Loper will represent the chapter in interviews at the national conference, where they will compete for a chance to be named among the Top 3 SkillsUSA chapters in the country.

“This is a tremendous honor for our students, school, and community,” said Jennie Corse, advisor. “Being named a Model of Excellence reflects our chapter’s hard work, leadership, and dedication to building career-ready skills.”

The SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference, held annually, brings together thousands of student leaders and competitors from across the U.S. The Model of Excellence program highlights those chapters that go above and beyond to apply SkillsUSA’s mission in meaningful, student-led ways.

Representing both Camden County and the state of Georgia on the national stage, the Camden County chapter continues to set the standard for excellence in career and technical education.
