First Block Announcements

Monday, May 9th

General 

The Hero Club will get together today in room D-12 for pizza and a slideshow. 

Attention Seniors: the slideshow will be 4th block on Friday, May 13th. If you have exempted exams you must enter through the 10/12 gym lobby. Seniors may enter at 12:55. Don’t forget to bring your school ID and rep your future collage. All outfits must be in dress code!

Check out procedures for Thursday, May 19th and Friday, May 20th 2022. Early check out notes for Thursday the 19th and Friday the 20th must be turned in by Tuesday, May 17th before school. Notes will NOT be accepted after Tuesday. This includes all medical, dental, and legal appointments. Students will NOT be called out of class to check out during exam times. 

Check out times will be after first block at 8:57 or any time after second block at 10:37. Students who check out early or are exempt from all exams are not allowed back on campus. Be sure to turn in all materials and take care of all fines before you leave.

A friendly reminder that any “pranks”, acts of vandalism, damage to school grounds, buildings, furnishings, etc may result in criminal charges or suspension from school, which could result in the student or students being prohibited from participation in graduation and any school activities

Cash ONLY for $90. 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students who ordered yearbooks may pick up their books on Saturday, May 14th from 10am to 1pm in the 10-12 front concourse. If there are extra books, students and parents may purchase for $90 cash at this time. Exact change is appreciated and checks are not accepted.

Softball tryouts will be held May 16th through the 18th from 3:30-5:30 at the CCHS softball field. All athletes must have a current physical on file with the athletic office in order to tryout.

Attention Art Club Members: We will have our last meeting this Thursday the 12th in H-3. We will have elections for next year’s officers, and celebrate another great year of Art club. Hope to see you there! 

Attention CCHS DECA members! DECA will be having our may chapter meeting today. This will be our final meeting of the year. We hope to see all DECA members there. 

CCHS DECA would like to congratulate class of 2022. It is not to late to show your wildcat pride. It is not too late to stop by the school store in the main building to purchase your wildcat apparel. We have a variety of styles and brands like Adidas. We hope to see you soon!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. To commemorate the occasion, the source is sponsoring an Art Supply Drive to benefit Coastal Counseling Center's new art therapy program! New or used art supplies are welcome. Supplies may be dropped off at Coach Corse's room, Ms. Yeager's room, both Media Centers, or Fine Arts building. Donations will be collected from May 11th until the last day of school. We thank you for supporting our communities mental health!

An interest meeting for all returning players and players interested in Basketball will be held on Thursday, May 19th in the athletic lecture hall at 2:30 PM.
