Welcome to Camden County High School

Camden County High School is the only high school in Camden County, offering comprehensive curriculum (9-12) with a variety of classes for both College Preparatory and Career Technology Preparatory serving 2,500+ students.

Thriving Advanced Placement, Career Academy, Dual Enrollment and work- based learning programs stimulate academic rigor and graduation employment readiness. Serving a diverse population, opportunities for interaction are nurtured among students from across our country and around the world. The shared experience of global perspectives and cultures broadens and deepens the CCHS education.

An outstanding Special Education program accounts for frequent Kings Bay Naval Base assignment requests by families of children with special needs. Twenty-eight co-curricular activities, 23 varsity sports, a 1,285 seat auditorium, and state-of-the-art athletic facilities complement the well-rounded education offered at CCHS.

Camden County High School has two 17-week semesters each academic year. Students take four 94-minute courses each semester on a 4x4 block schedule, for a total of eight courses per academic year. Typical students may earn 32 credits during four years of high school. Several AP classes are taught on an A/B block that alternates days throughout the entire year; some AP classes are offered Spring semester. Students are not limited in the number of AP, Gifted (if qualified), or Honors courses they may take. No IB courses are offered.

Motivated students may take online courses through Georgia Virtual School or, if qualified, through academic and technical dual enrollment programs with College of Coastal Georgia or Coastal Pines Technical College.
