CCHS Honored As "High School That Works"
SREB

Please join us in congratulating the CCHS Wildcats and the SMMS Bobcats on their recent recognition by the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB). CCHS earned the Outstanding High Schools that Work award for their efforts to create smaller learning communities through the career academy system and increasing graduation rates from 51% in 2000 to 90% in 2017.
St. Marys Middle School earned the title of Outstanding Making Middle Grades Work School Award for their efforts to increase STEM education and prepare students for success in high school and beyond.
Dr. John Tucker and Dr. Angela McManigal accepted the awards before thousands of attendees at the SREB Summer Conference in Nashville.
Congratulations to CCHS and SMMS!
