Summer 2018 CCHS Credit Redemption Registration (form attached)


Program Dates: May 29, 2018 – July 13, 2018                          

Deadline to register: Jun 7, 2018

Credit redemption is for students to make up a course in which they FAILED. There is no score cut off. It’s for any academic failed course. It cost $100. Maximum 2 credits allowed. Only CCHS students are permitted to enroll.

All EOC subjects will take an EOC as a final test. EOC testing will take place on July 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th. All course work must be finished by July 13th for credit to be issue before school begins. ANY WORK COMPLETED AFTER THAT DAY IS NOT ACCEPTED.

All Credit Redemption courses will be taken using the online software program Edgenuity. The High School Media center will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 – 12 from May 29th to June 28th for additional help and if internet access is not available at home.  Mandatory meeting must take place before working from home is allowed. Students report to the media center for their mandatory meeting and will receive their user names and passwords to begin work. After that, the can work from home if they want.

Summer 2018 Course Extension Registration (form attached)

This program is for NON EOC COURSES.

The Course Extension Program offers a student who failed an academic (NON EOC) core course 2nd Semester with a grade of 60-69 an opportunity to add points to bring that grade to a maximum 70.  Non EOC Course Extension courses will be taken using the online software program Edgenuity. The High School Media center will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 – 12 from May 29th to June 28th for additional help and if internet access is not available at home.  Mandatory meeting must take place before working from home is allowed. Students report to the media center for their mandatory meeting and will receive their user names and passwords to begin work. This also cost $100.

EOC TUTORING Program (form Attached)

Program Dates: June 4 through June 28

Students will be tutored Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.in the High School building from Jun 4 till June 21. Students need to report to the High School on June 4th to receive classroom locations. Students who participate in the tutoring program for a failed EOC will be allowed to retake the EOC during the last of June (6/25-6/28). Passing scores on the EOC are a CCHS Graduation Requirement. Students who participate in the remediation program have a greater chance to improve their EOC score. Passing the EOC will also increase their final average for course. If the class grade is between a 60 to a 69 before the tutoring program, student will also receive credit for that class. THIS PROGRAM IS FREE and we encourage everyone who failed an EOC to patriciate.

In case you do not know which subjects have an EOC, they are Coordinate Algebra, Analytic Geometry, Physical Science, Biology, 9th Grade Lit, American Lit, US History, and Economics.
