General Announcements 

  • The Spanish Club meeting is tomorrow at 2:30 in room E1. Get ready for a fun time with good food and friends.
  • The CCHS Theatre will have an audition on Friday, October 23 at 2:40 in the auditorium. The audition is for one male student in the show, The Cherry Sisters, Revisited.
  • Attention FBLA members, it's crew week be sure to check google classroom for a list of our daily activities. Also, please plan to attend our special C-High crew day fun on Wednesday, October 21st @4:00pm in room H-4.
  • Attention all Junior and Senior girls! If you want to compete in the 2021 Miss Wildcat competition, you need to pick up an application from room E-9. The event is scheduled for January 22nd and 23rd, 2021. The top prize this year is a $2000 Scholarship. For more information, see Mrs.Slusser, your coach, or club sponsor by Friday, October 30th.
  • Senior Beta is now accepting applications for new members. All Senior Beta club dues must be paid by October 31. Please drop off payment in room C-19 or the front office.

 

Sports Announcements

  • Girls and boys basketball tryouts will begin on Monday, October 26th after school in the 10-12 gym. Participants must have an updated physical and insurance on file. Boys tryouts will be held from 2:30 to 5:00pm. Girls, See coach Ellis in D-9 if you have any questions. 
  •  Safe travels and good luck to the varsity softball and volleyball teams as they are traveling to compete against Grayson High School tomorrow to compete in the first round of state playoffs.
  • Thursday, October 22 the Jv football team will be traveling to Glynn Academy with kickoff at 5:00 pm.
  • Come out and support the 9th grade football team as they host Glynn Academy with kickoff at 5:00 pm.

  •  Attention Students. There will be a meeting of the National Honor Society, Thursday, October 15th at 2:30pm in the cafeteria. The makeup meeting will be Friday, October 16th at 7:00am in room C-13. New members are required to attend this meeting.  
  • Senior Beta is now accepting applications for new members. All Senior Beta club dues must be paid by October 31. Please drop off payment in room C-19 or the front office. 
  • This week DECA is having members sign up for competition until November 6th. Our competition categories are in finance, financial literacy, business management, marketing, hospitality and tourism, business administration, and entrepreneurship. If you are interested in participating,  come to C8 or the Wildway store.
  • Check out Poetry Out Loud, a poetry recitation contest. All you need to do is go to PoetryOutLoud.Org and memorize a poem. The school contest is November 9th. Please drop by room D-3 for more information.

      Applications for Mr. Wildcat are available on the CCHS website for all who are interested in participating.

      Buy your homecoming date a corsage or boutonnière! Come visit your FFA representatives during lunch on Monday, September 9th or Wednesday, September 11th to purchase one. You can also visit room B-10 after school to place an order. Final orders are due September 11th.

      Attention Seniors - your last opportunity to have your senior portraits taken for the yearbook will be today after school and tomorrow. You must go online to cady studios to register for an appointment.

      There are also a few reminders for our students:  Students are required to have your chromebooks charged and with you in all classes - this includes advisory.

      Students may not order food and have it delivered to the school. Lastly, students must exit their vehicle upon arrival on campus.
