First Block Announcements

General Announcements 

  • The FFA meeting will be Wednesday, January 15th in B-10 right after school.

  • FBLA will meet Wednesday, January 15th after school in H-4. Please wear your chapter t-shirt.

  • There will be a Senior Beta meeting today, January 13th after school in the 10/12 cafeteria. The donation item will be new or gently used books.

  • Yearbooks will be on sale this week in the 10/12 and NGC cafeterias during all four lunches for $85.

  • Connections Club will also be having their meeting Wednesday after school in G-10.

Sports Announcements 

  • The Boys Golf Team will be holding an informational meeting tomorrow, January 14th at 2:30 in the lecture hall. Anyone interested should attend to find out about upcoming tryouts on February 10th and to pick up paperwork.

The Varsity Boys and Girls Soccer Teams will be competing against Bruisnwick at home with the games starting at 5 and 7. 

The Track Team will be traveling to compete with the meet starting at 4.

General Announcements 

  • Future Georgia Educators Club will have an important meeting Thursday, January 23rd right after school. Please plan to attend.

Sports Announcements 

  • Congratulations ROTC Marksmanship Team for winning the Area 12 Marksmanship Championship. Precision Team A - 1st Place, Precision Team B - 4th Place, Sporter Team - 3rd Place. Additionally, Camden County was the only team in Area 12 to qualify two teams for Navy Nationals in Arizona.
  • Congratulations to our Swim Team for their success this weekend - it's a three peat! Boys placed 2nd in the region and girls placed 3rd. Awesome job!
  • Camden County Wildcats met up with the Collins Hill Eagles for the state title this weekend at the GHSA Team Duel State Championships. Camden defended their title, beating Collins Hill 35 - 27 in the State Finals.
  • Camden opened the State Tournament with a 74 - 0 win over Park View, and followed it with a 58 - 15 win over Mountain View in the Quarter Finals and a 59 - 10 victory over West Forsyth in the Semifinals. This makes Camden's sixth consecutive state title and seventh in school history, with their first state title in 2012.

On Monday, stop by the Mission Possible table at lunch to pick up your "mission". The mission should be to improve someone's day. The HERO Club Fall Costume Patty will be today from 6-8pm at the Rec Center.

Attention all boys in grades 9-12. Do you have what it takes to be the Freshest freshman, the sweetest sophomore, jazziest junior. Or even the sexiest senior? 

Applications for Mr. Wildcat are available on the CCHS website for all who are interested in participating.

Buy your homecoming date a corsage or boutonnière! Come visit your FFA representatives during lunch on Monday, September 9th or Wednesday, September 11th to purchase one. You can also visit room B-10 after school to place an order. Final orders are due September 11th.

Attention Seniors - your last opportunity to have your senior portraits taken for the yearbook will be today after school and tomorrow. You must go online to cady studios to register for an appointment.

There are also a few reminders for our students:  Students are required to have your chromebooks charged and with you in all classes - this includes advisory.

Attention all boys in grades 9-12. Do you have what it takes to be the Freshest freshman, the sweetest sophomore, jazziest junior. Or even the sexiest senior? 

Applications for Mr. Wildcat are available on the CCHS website for all who are interested in participating.

Buy your homecoming date a corsage or boutonnière! Come visit your FFA representatives during lunch on Monday, September 9th or Wednesday, September 11th to purchase one. You can also visit room B-10 after school to place an order. Final orders are due September 11th.

Attention Seniors - your last opportunity to have your senior portraits taken for the yearbook will be today after school and tomorrow. You must go online to cady studios to register for an appointment.

There are also a few reminders for our students:  Students are required to have your chromebooks charged and with you in all classes - this includes advisory.
